Creating a community of practice to manage for climate change across the WA rangelands
- Rangelands Wide
This Project will challenge producers and producer groups to increase their awareness and ability to cope with seasonal and environmental changes arising from increasing climatic variation.
This Project will challenge producers and producer groups to increase their awareness and ability to cope with seasonal and environmental changes arising from increasing climatic variation. Through this project, Rangelands NRM will engage with four producer groups that represent the following subregions of the WA rangelands – Kimberley/ Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields-Nullabor and Yalgoo (Midwest), each facing particular challenges with regards to building resiliency to climate change.
In response, Rangelands NRM will partner with a leading producer group in the subregion to deliver a locally relevant workshop framed around their articulated priorities. The workshop topics and subsequent communication materials will provide opportunities to address local issues and priorities and also contribute to broader regional and national environmental, economic and social outcomes.
