What is an NRM?

An industry sector that guides regionally appropriate strategic priorities for natural resource management across Australia. Developed to draw a voice to how we manage the land to ensure a healthy country, viable and resilient communities, and sustainable industries today and into the future.

NRM is about working together and partnering with a range of people across the landscape to enable prosperity.

Who and what is Rangelands NRM?

Rangelands NRM is a Natural Resource Management organisation established over 20 years ago (1997) to help spearhead ecological preservation and sustainability activity across the Australian Rangelands in WA by developing and managing ongoing relationships and partnerships with communities, businesses, schools, universities, government and industry; driving research leading to implementation of activities and programs to improve land and sea management practices with a focus on active sustainability to repair and protect our stunningly beautiful, unique and delicate natural environment.

The Rangelands is often referred to as the outback, it comprises;
